FADING MEMORIES

This is a solo exhibition video of Erica(Woojeong Choi), the winner of the second Mikihasi artist contest. Erica, an artist who expresses the process of memory through geometric techniques as a combination of the past ‘I’ and present ‘I’. Her work is based on photographs taken directly from her travels, and her memories are expressed in colors. Her work is also the result of her obsession with memory. Even if we try to remember everything, memories change and fade, with the remaining memories that she expresses as “fading memories”.
